2018 Advisories

Starting in March 2016 the Indiana State Department of Health, Food Protection Program will no longer post notifications for drug and medical device recalls and advisories. However, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Feed Recalls and Advisories affecting Indiana will continue to be reported to local health departments and posted on this site. Recalls are issued by manufacturers with guidance from the USDA which regulates meat and poultry, or the FDA which regulates all other products. If you have questions about a recall, you may contact your local health department or the manufacturer for information.

If you would like to continue receiving FDA Drug and Medical Device Recall Notifications or access archived recalls and advisories from the FDA, you may do so by clicking on FDA Food Recalls. If you would like to access archived recalls and advisories from the USDA, you may do so by clicking on USDA Recalls and Public Health Alerts.
