  • Recidivism ReportsVarious reports outlining studies on recidivism by release cohort, since 2011. Reports outline primary findings for both the adult and juvenile populations.
  • Total Population Summary Reports :This report outlines charging information for both admissions and snapshot populations, by felony level. Additionally, information is provided about populations of the Department of Correction, Community Corrections, and both sentenced felons awaiting transport to DOC and Level 6 jail populations. Available reports date back through July 2015.
  • Offender Population Statistical Reports : This report outlines general information regarding snapshot population, admissions, releases, and staffing numbers for the adult, juvenile, and parole populations supervised by the Indiana Department of Correction. Update frequency is monthly and monthly files are available through January 2014. Year End Reports can be found here.
  • Adult New Admissions : This report outlines adult admissions to the Department of Correction during a calendar year, by county of admission for the most serious committing offense. Update frequency is yearly and reports are available from 2005 forward. 
  • Adult Releases : This report outlines adult releases from the Department of Correction during a calendar year, by county of admission for the most serious committing offense. All information is further broken down by sex and releasing supervision type (Community Transition Program (CTP), probation, parole, or discharge).
  • Juvenile New Admissions :  This report outlines juvenile admissions to the Department of Correction during a calendar year, by county of admission for the most serious committing offense. Update frequency is yearly and reports are available from 2005 forward.
  • Juvenile Releases : This report outlines juvenile releases from the Department of Correction during a calendar year, by county of admission for the most serious committing offense. Update frequency is yearly and reports are available from 2005 forward.
  • FACT Cards :This report is a snapshot of staffing, facility, and parole populations as of either january 1 or July 1 of each year. This report is updated every six months and is available from january 2002 forward.
