Recreational Trails Program

The Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant program has been replaced by the Indiana Trails Program (ITP) grants.  

Why is it changing?

For more information about why DNR and INDOT have changed the program, see the ITP FAQ page.  

What about existing RTP grants?

There will be no changes or updates. Grants awarded through RTP will continue per federal rules and the state grant agreement.

RTP Manual from 2020 will remain online to serve as a reference for those who still have open grants.
