Snowmobiling in Indiana

snowmobiling

Indiana has more than 200 miles of snowmobile trail in the northern part of the state that are open to the public when conditions allow. These trails are provided through a partnership between local snowmobile clubs, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and the Indiana Snowmobilers Association. Additionally, snowmobiling is legal on private property with permission of the landowner and on country roads in certain counties. In all cases, snowmobiles must be registered and should follow all applicable state snowmobile regulations.
