IDOC Preparedness and Response Plan (Adult and Juvenile) The Indiana Department of Correction will manage infectious diseases in correctional facilities through a comprehensive approach which includes prevention, testing, appropriate treatment, education, and infection control measures. This link outlines the details of  how each facility will implement it's primary and secondary prevention measures.

 

Commissioner Directive for Pandemic Response: This Executive Directive presents and authorizes the Indiana Department of Correction’s Pandemic Preparedness and Response Plan. The Plan is effective immediately and is applicable to all Department staff, facilities, visitors, offenders, and youth.

IDOC & Wexford COVID-19 Protocol: The Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) and Wexford, the contact medical service provider to the IDOC, have been working closely on screening and treatment protocols for any IDOC or Wexford staff, or any offender housed at an IDOC facility, should they be diagnosed as having contracted COVID-19.

IDOC Release-Request of Information: This form is for offender families to access their loved one’s private medical records. This form must be printed and sent to the offender to complete and approve. This form is also available at the offender’s request from the medical department.
