As we continue to deal with the impact of COVID-19 and its ripple effect on jobs and the economy, it’s important that we work together as a community to help prevent people from being displaced from their homes. We have included answers to some frequently asked questions, as well as other resources to help navigate through these uncertain times. Provided below are frequently asked questions.

On March 18, 2020, the Trump administration directed U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to suspend all evictions and foreclosures on HUD-backed properties until the end of April. Furthermore, Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) directed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to suspend foreclosures and evictions for at least 60 days for homeowners with mortgages backed by the government-sponsored enterprises. Assistance programs can differ by loan type. For more information on consumer assistance programs, visit the following websites:
