The following may include road construction advisories, property and trail closures and other notices. Check with the property office for the latest updates.

Clark State Forest advisories

  • Due to limited staff the Clark State Forest office is temporarily closed. You may purchase Clark State Forest gun range passes and other DNR permits/passes at Deam Lake State Recreation Area. The gun range sign in process remains the same. Deam Lake SRA is currently open seven days a week. Permits and passes may be purchased at the Deam Lake gate or office.

  • BLUE-GREEN ALGAE is at the ADVISORY alert level for the Lake Beach. Swimming and boating are permitted. Avoid contact with algae. Avoid swallowing water while swimming. Take a bath or shower with warm soapy water after coming in contact with lake water. Do not use lake water for cooking or bathing. Do not allow your pets to swim or drink water where algae are present. Check back for updates. More information.

TRAIL CONDITION: GOOD. Anticipate valleys and low areas to be wet due to spring time conditions.

Report adverse trail conditions on the KT to Jackson-Washington State Forest. Be specific with type of hazard and location.

Yellowwood State Forest advisories

  • Due to the unexpected closure of the county road that the Tecumseh Trail uses to reconnect with state land to the north and because of No Trespassing signs erected by the railroad for public safety, the Tecumseh Trail is closed at the section shown on the map until further notice.
