A message from the Indiana Department of Health to first responders:

On January 4th, 2021, the Indiana Department of Health announced that first responders (fire, law enforcement, emergency medical services, volunteers, reserve officers) are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. 

This includes anyone employed by a first responder agency in a public-facing position that requires in-person contact, increasing the risk for potential exposure to COVID-19.
