COVID-19 Actions

Extension of Examination Windows: The amount of time that an individual, who completes a pre-licensure course, has to take the Real Estate Broker Exam in 2020, has been extended by six months. If an individual’s one-year window in which they can take the exam is set to expire in 2020, then that window has been extended for six months. All other requirements and regulations regarding the exam are still in place, beyond this extension. 

Waiver of In-Person Education Requirements: For the duration of the public health crisis, the Indiana Real Estate Commission has temporarily suspended 876 IAC 7-6-4. This suspension means that any currently approved real estate curriculum, mandatory continuing education, or pre-licensing curriculum may be transitioned to online, remote learning for full credit. Remote Work: In response to COVID-19 and the impact it is having on the State of Indiana, the Professional Licensing Agency will have the majority of our staff working remotely in the coming weeks. While routine operations of the agency will continue, please note that there may be disruptions or delays in the processing of your requests. Please prioritize the usage of email to communicate with our staff whenever possible and scan any documents that need to be processed. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work best to protect our staff and serve Hoosiers in these ever-changing times.

Important Notice for the Broker Exam:
The last day for testing for Indiana Real Estate Broker Exams with Pearson VUE is July 31, 2019.  Exam registrations will not be accepted by Pearson VUE after close of business on July 30, 2019, with the final exam appointment on July 31, 2019.  For more information, or to schedule exams for August 1, 2019 and forward, please contact PSI at 1-800-733-9267.
